How does the ordering system work?

Our ordering system is relatively simple, but we do understand that not everyone is an internet expert, so this guide is designed to explain how our ordering system works. If however, you do have any queries regarding the ordering system or these FAQ's, then please do not hesitate to contact us for clarification.

To buy any of the items on the site just set a quantity, then click the button next to the description of that item and they will be added to the shopping cart, together with VAT and shipping costs.

If you want to remove something from the cart, just change its quantity to 0 (zero) and click the "RECALCULATE" button. This will then delete this item from the cart and you can start again. To go back from the cart to the page you left, either press the "Back" button in your browser or click "CONTINUE SHOPPING" You can add as many items to the cart as you wish and when you are ready, pick the "GO TO PAYMENTS" button where you will be asked to provide your details and a delivery address (if different). We ask you to make sure you give us a valid email address so we can contact you if there are any queries relating to your order.

When you have completed your details, the next "CONTINUE" button will take you to the secure server for you to enter your credit card details. Once this is complete, you will have made your order and will receive an email receipt detailing everything on the cart, with the shipping, VAT and our VAT number. We will check your order and get back to you if there are any queries. Your credit card is not debited until the goods are ready for despatch.

Is it safe to give my card details over the Internet?

How do I know my order has been received?

When you place your order you will receive a confirmation email to inform you that we have received it.

When will I get my order?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 working hours of receipt of order. If this is not possible, we will email you with our target delivery date shortly after receiving your order.

How will you deliver my order?

We will use a specialist carrier to deliver your order. The carrier will require a signature from the cardholder on delivery. If this is not available the goods will be returned to our factory. This policy is designed to protect you from the fraudulent use of your card.

What are your delivery charges?

Delivery charges are currently £10.00 and are shown on the checkout screen, however if you require delivery to some areas of the Highlands, Ireland or any other non mainland address, we will contact you via email confirming the carriage cost which we will ask you to agree prior to processing your order. Do You Deliver Overseas?

We welcome overseas orders, but are not sufficiently technical to work out the carriage and tax implications online. We will therefore confirm the price by email as soon as possible. Your credit card will not be charged until you have agreed the carriage and delivery time and the goods are ready for dispatch. You may be liable to pay import tax.

How do I know your labels and ribbons will meet my needs?

Our labels are suitable for almost all thermal transfer printers with 203mm (8") roll size capacity which accept 76mm (3") internal diameter cores. If you know the type of printer that you are using, use the drop down box "Select Printer Here" on the ribbons page and select your printer from the list provided. Click "Compute" and it will tell you which type of ribbon you require. If your printer is not listed there, please contact us via our contact forms or email us, stating your printer model and we shall find out for you the ribbon that you require. If you would like to compare the print results with your existing labels and ribbons you can order one of our free 'Sample Ribbons', which come with some printed labels for you to evaluate.

Why do you only take credit card payment?

By only accepting credit card payment we reduce our administration and bad debt overheads to a Minimum, allowing us to offer you the best possible prices.

Why don't you stock a wider range of sizes and materials?

Our market surveys have indicated that our range will meet over 80% of plain label requirements. By only stocking these sizes we can optimise our production to bring you the best prices.

If my requirement is large enough, will you quote for non-stock items?

Yes - tell us what you want and we will quote you. The only proviso is that your order must come to a value of over £50. Non stock items may have a longer lead time.

What if the product arrives damaged?

The product is fine but I have changed my mind

You have the right to cancel your contract within seven working days of the delivery of your goods. If you wish to do this please contact us by email advising your name, address, sales reference number (this is on your delivery note) telephone number and the reason for the return. We will issue you with a Returns Number, without which no delivery can be accepted or refund issued. Once the returns number is issued goods must be returned carriage paid within 5 working days. 

Only goods which are returned unused and with their retaining seals (in the case of labels) or cellophane wrapping (in the case of ribbons and cleaning kits) can be accepted for refund.

Once the goods have been returned in an acceptable condition, your credit card account will be credited for the goods value but not for any carriage charges.

Sample packs cannot be returned for credit or exchange, this does not affect your statutory rights.
